01/06/10 SWPG has just added another article to our site. The article is an extract from Mark Bailey`s book "The Cliff Hotel, Cheddar" which features the South West Paranormal Group. Marks book also has various aspects of Cheddar`s history. Each is illustrated with material from Mark Bailey`s collection of postcards, advertisements and photographs, dating from the 1850s to the present day. Titles include the following: Cheddar Railway Station, The Cliff Hotel, Cheddar, The legacy of Rowland Hill Pavey, Cheddar Motor and Transport Museum, Visit the Royal Gloucestershire Hussars imperial Yoemanry to Cheddar, May 1904. Anyone interested in obtaining copies of any of the books, or in looking through his collection, or discussing the history of Cheddar can contact Mark at mark.bailey@hotmail.com

18/11/08 Due to unexpected circumstances SWPG have decided to have a short break from investigating noted paranormal locations. We must stress that we are not closing SWPG. 11/11/08 SWPG have made the decision to close our forum, this is so we can put more time in running our site and other projects we have comming up in the future. 15/09/08 SWPG are glad to announce an upcomming investigation at Lydiard House, Swindon. We have been granted permission to investigate this historic building and we will be the fist paranormal group to be granted access. Keep an eye out for our reports over the next few weeks.

29/07/08 SWPG would like to thank BBC Wiltshire Radio, we were invited to come along for and interview to coincide with the release of the new X-Files movie.
