On the 12th September 2009 myself, Sharon, Emma and guests arrived at our private investigation in Swindon.
The owner of the house Lisa invited us in and showed us into the living room where she had some guests waiting for our arrival. Myself and Emma asked Lisa if there was anywhere private we could talk, we didn’t want Sharon to overhear our conversation regarding the activity Lisa had been experiencing, while we were upstairs Sharon stayed in the living room with the rest of the guests.
Lisa informed us that she believed her house was haunted by an ex boyfriend who had died suddenly some years before, she also felt that he needed to move on. Both Lisa and her young daughter had experienced strange and unexplainable things like shadows and objects being moved.
After our short discussion we headed back downstairs into the living room, Emma gave a brief safety talk and explained what equipment would be used and how it worked. We split into two teams myself, Emma and three of Lisa guests stayed in the living room while Sharon headed upstairs with the rest of the guests. While we were conducting our baseline tests we had a very high EMF reading in the middle of the living room which seemed to stop when we raised the EMF meter to shoulder height, some guests complained of having pins and needles and feeling cold while they were in the same area.
Before we began our investigation Emma placed a Dictaphone in the living room in the hope of getting some EVPs (Electronic Voice Phenomena) we also placed a K2 meter on the floor in the middle of the room. Sharon had picked up on some names earlier so we began by calling out their names; we noticed that we were getting good responses through the K2 meter and it seemed we were in contact with a little girl called Amy, she told us that she was 5 years old and that she had a favorite toy she liked to play with in Lisa’s daughters room. Lisa later said that she had often gone into her daughter’s bedroom and found a doll on the floor; every time this occurred Lisa said it was the same doll time and time again. Amy said that she was afraid of a spirit man called Charles who was also in the house; he had some connection with a man called Mike who was somehow involved with one of Lisa’s male guests.
While I was sat on the floor I clearly heard “mamma” which sounded like it had come from a toy doll, I played back the Dictaphone which was in the room but unfortunately we were unable to hear it. Lisa later said that the doll she keeps finding on the floor in her daughters room used to make a noise but it hasn’t worked in years. We decided to set up a trigger object on the floor which was a coin and a small rubber ball, we drew round these objects and asked Amy to move them but unfortunately we had no movement.
As we were coming to the end of our vigil Sharon came downstairs with the other guests, they also said that they had been in contact with a little girl and a little boy, Lisa was in floods of tears but said she was happy as she believed that the little boy had something to do with her past, due to the sensitivity of this information we thought that it should remain private, it will not be published in this report.
Before we concluded this investigation Sharon conducted some healing on Lisa, Sharon said that she felt that an ex boyfriend of lisas was in the house, Sharon then told Lisa that when he died she had left a letter and a rose in his coffin. Lisa was quite surprised and shocked at this information and confirmed that it was true, myself and Emma had no knowledge of this as Lisa never mentioned it earlier while we were upstairs at the beginning of the evening.
I had a very exciting and eventful night on this investigation, Sharon cleared Lisa’s house of any spirits that may still be there. We have contacted Lisa since the investigation and she says that she feels more at ease and relaxed in her home.
